Dr. Crystal Young-Wilson the Great

I met Dr. Young-Wilson when she was with Piedmont Physicians. Immediately, I liked her thorough and compassionate disposition, and because she is a DO, I knew her comprehensive approach to medicine would benefit me. To my horror- she left the Piedmont position just when we were getting starting. After 2 years of research online, I found her. Whew! My medical circumstances are complex and unusual; to be honest, I've had doctors get overwhelmed and tell me so verbally. Dr. Young-Wilson has never given up on me and has always presented a positive "We're In This Together" attitude when addressing all the issues surrounding my health. Likewise, she makes herself available to meet my unexpected needs, which is unheard of during these current times. She is my unwavering advocate in every way- be it physical, emotional or social. (i.e employment correspondence). She's helped me in too many ways to count, but for the sake of this platform consider the following narrative. When I became reacquainted with Dr. Young-Wilson, my condition had gotten progressively worse. Over a period of time, she referred me to an acupuncturist, nutritionist, and pelvic floor doctor. In addition to the latter approaches to address my medical needs, I always have other directives like labs and various types to radiology procedures. To be honest, I have so many directives that it takes months to satisfy them all. Finally, Dr. Young-Wilson decided that I should go to the Mayo Clinic to see a motility expert, which I did this past summer. He ordered a number of comprehensive test which proved his diagnostic opinion and he referred me to a pelvic floor specialist. So I drove 276 miles to get the same referral that Dr. Young-Wilson suggested. I emailed her to tell her the news and that I appreciate her; my new name for her is "Dr. Young-Wilson the Great!"
