Dr. Bradley Hunter: A doctor that truly cares
At my age of 83, I've seen plenty of doctors. I've had some good experiences and some bad ones. I'm pleased to say that my experience with Dr. Bradley Hunter has been the best of the bunch. Recently, while out of town, I had a bout of "atrial flutter". I called Dr. Hunter, and asked for his advice, and he responded quickly with advice that made all the difference. When I returned home to Maryland, he arranged for me to see a cardioligist, and I had an atrial ablation procedure done two weeks later. That whole process would not have occurred without Dr. Hunter's intervention. What I appreciate the most is his willingness to take my calls or texts whenever I have a medical question or concern. He's always willing to listen and provide his opinion and advice. He really does care for his patients.
I take no prescription medications, but do take a considerable number of supplements. When I've mentioned the supplements that I take to other doctors, they generally don't know what I'm talking about or minimize their utility. In Dr. Hunter's case, he is always interested in what I have to say regarding supplements, and does not try to ridicule what or why I take them. He is however, well versed in the information and is willing to provide his point of view on the viability of my supplement choices. He is open to prevention instead of only being focused on symptoms, and focuses on the whole person in his practice. When I have my annual physical and blood work done, he will spend a significant amount of time explaining the results, and working on a mutually acceptable plan for remaining healthy and productive. I feel very blessed to have found him as my primary physician.
