Dr. Blomgren is always generous with his time and attention. I especially appreciate the time he took to return my call during the corona virus scare. I had called to ask if I should be tested. My husband and I had just returned from a week at a big convention in a US city whose mayor declared a public health emergency due to the corona virus. The day after we returned my husband came down with symptoms of a respiratory illness. I have been on the edge of respiratory illness all winter, never having fully recovered from a nasty virus I contracted in November and also have a lot of allergies that cause me to sneeze all year round, so I had called his office to ask if I should be tested. He gave me clear instructions on what to watch for and explained carefully why everyone who may have been exposed should not be routinely tested (they would run out of test kits). In the face of mass hysteria--just try finding a containter of hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol or disinfecting wipes anywhere; even the liquor stores have run out of grain alcohol--he gave me calm and clear advice, which I appreciate.
