After moving to Austin almost 5 years ago we were faced with the chore of finding new doctors. I was looking for dentists, pediatricians, eye doctors etc., but was not thinking along the lines of a primary care physician for myself. MDVIP was new for me. Once I found out what having an MDVIP doctor would mean for my health it was something I wanted to try. I feel like it has taken me back to how things use to be - - - having one physician who knows me and my issues and my medications and what direction I need to be headed. For such a long time when I would get sick I'd just pick an urgent care facility that could attend to me that day, for whatever issue. Choosing Dr. Alexander for my health care needs has been a great decision for me. She is on top of what's going on in my life and directs me to any specialist that may be able to help me along the way. I had to go to the emergency room one night last fall because I had broken ribs. The next day she called me to check on me and to see if there was anything she could do. That's personal service. I've been so happy with her and confident that she's there for me when I need her that I've talked my husband into joining the MDVIP program as well. We feel taken care of and it's a good feeling. Doctor Alexander is reliable, easy to talk with and seems to really care about my health and the needs of my family. She even sees our daughters who are 19 and 23. I would like to think that if I had not met her through the health care system that if we had crossed paths another way we would be friends. I just really like her!
