Dr. Anne Alexander - Great Doc, Ready for Anything!
I'm not one of Dr. Alexander's "normal" patients. As a Navy Reservist, I fly military aircraft regularly throughout the year. Since I've been Dr. Alexander's patient, she's gotten fun emails from me with titles like, "So I got hit with a Laser last night", and "Suffered explosive decompression at altitude". The cool thing is that I can actually hop on the MDVIP site wherever I am and send her a secure message with such things, and she always responds very quickly with whatever I need. I've lost count of the number of quick referrals or hot fill prescriptions she's done for me in a pinch. Dr. A has also been great at consolidating info from any specialist I've seen and quarterbacking the show. It's a huge relief to be able to sit with her and discuss complex medical issues in a deliberate and unhurried manner.
I'm also probably on the younger side compared to most of her elderly patients, but I had a chance to meet several of them at a Christmas dinner Dr. A held. What struck me was that each of her elderly patients were actually pretty darn good looking for their advanced age. They all seemed in very good health both physically and mentally. If Dr. A's care means that I can run around chowing down on BBQ when I'm 90, then I'll be her patient for life!
