Dr. Aisenberg is the BEST!
I first got to know Dr. Aisenberg when I selected her to see my 83 year old mother who came to live with me because of dementia. Making decisions about your own family member when it is just yourself and a sibling is a difficult task. When my mom fell and broke her hip, she just didn't come back after surgery to herself. She was unresponsive unless moved and then she would only yell due to pain. I asked Dr. Aisenberg if my brother and I could come and talk with her and she set aside time right then. She was able to confirm we were making the right decision to put her on hospice which, even though as a nurse myself knowing it was the right choice, I needed to hear that. As difficult as it was to do, I found peace with her confirmation.
My husband and I travel a lot as we have a basement apartment in our 2 daughters homes--one in VA and one in UT. It gives me peace of mind that I can reach her for needed assistance even if it is long distance. I actually feel as if we are part of a family because we know each other somewhat. I love seeing pictures of her family and Kaitlyn's as it brings forward more about the lives they have outside of the office.
In the recent survey by MDVIP-one of the questions was about continuing with MDVIP if my provider was to leave. I couldn't say yes for sure. Dr. Aisenberg was our primary before we joined MDVIP and I couldn't fathom the idea of having someone else. I will say this: I am glad she's a lot younger than me, so hopefully I will have her to the end. :) Thank you Dr. Aisenberg for choosing this profession and not only blessing my life, but I am certain the lives of all of those you touch. Happy National Doctors Day!!!
