A doctor who truly serves his patients

In 2017, my wife of 48 years was nearing hospice care and was recuperating from major neck surgery. We had begun seeing Dr. Karing in the past couple of years, and we were very pleased with his overall care and knowledge of my wife's condition. However, it was during this stressful homecare time that Dr. Karing showed amazing care and compassion. One night, after going on hospice care, my wife needed medication immediately that had to be compounded, and the hospice company had no solutions. I contacted Dr. Karing, who was watching college basketball playoffs with his son. He left his home and hand-carried a prescription to the pharmacy, waited while it was compounded, and then drove it to our home so that I wouldn't have to leave my wife's side. I was overwhelmed by that kind of care. We will always be grateful for this man and the true love he shows for his patients.
