A Doctor Who Cares

Six years ago my wife passed unexpectedly from the side effects of radiation treatment she had received 10 years earlier. Dr. Cai was there for me at 2:00 in the morning and provided support and encouragement that helped get me through those difficult times.

She continues to provide the proactive support and guidance to my new wife and to me. Dr. Cai knows us, our medical history and anticipates our needs, without looking at our charts. Of course she does review all lab and test results with us on every visit whether in person on via FaceTime.

Because she is accessible and knows me so well, I have been able to call her when we’re out of town. She has offered the names of local MDVIP associates if we needed them. Fortunately this has not been necessary but it is reassuring to know that we have access to quality medical care wherever we are in this country.

Dr. Cai’s relationship with specialist in the area gets us a level of service and support most of our friends and family envy.

I am alive today because of Dr. Cai’s proactive medicine. She had identified an asymptotic heart problem that my cardiologist explained would have been fatal if I had not had 2 stents implanted. I had over 90% blockage.

I can go on listing the benefits of a proactive Doctor who LISTENS and knows her patients but I don’t want to be redundant.
