A Doctor is Looking After Me
For the first time in a long time, I feel I have a doctor who really listens and who really cares. I have not been Dr. Smith's patient for too long, yet I still have the reassurance that he is truly there for me and on my side.
I am a spoiled rotten patient whose father was a general practitioner and husband an internist. I always had the security of "live in" help, so to speak. Dr. Smith reminds me of both of my family doctors: he is smart, but also wise; he is kind but also truthful. I value his opinion and hope never to take advantage of his generosity. Most important, I trust him. I trust his judgment and know, too, that he will respect my needs. His manner is so gentle and empathetic, I feel I could share my deepest concerns with him and he would listen patiently.
What more could one ask for in a doctor?
