My wife was having a real problem a year after her right knee replacement surgery. She was in constant pain and needed a cane to walk. The pain was not as intent prior to the surgery, and she did not need a cane to walk. Her Orthopedic Surgeon was not sympathetic to her situation after the surgery. My wife and I had a serious discussion with Dr Nallamala (our VIPMD family doctor) about her Orthopedic Surgeon and his attitude. Dr Nallamala agreed to discuss my wife's situation with the surgeon, and the next time we met with him he could not be more helpful and recommended he operate and replace the right knee again. My wife is doing well seven weeks after the surgery and has minimal pain and is very satisfied with the results this time. I don't know what Dr Nalamalla said to the orthopedic surgeon however, his reaction to my wife was entirely different as a result of Dr Nalamalla's talk with him.
