A Doctor that Goes Beyond a Doctor

Dr Herrington has been our doctor for many years; treating me, my mother, and my children and extended family at various times through the years. There are plenty of stories of appreciation that I could share throughout the years, but none will compare to when I was going through the darkest time of my life.
Sharing such private and traumatic events with strangers may seem odd or too personal, but when you’re going through what I was and received the care and compassion I did from Dr Herrington, it doesn’t seem that strange.
I was going through episode after episode of heartbreaking and emotional tragedies, back to back. I couldn’t think logically anymore, no sleep, I was lost, I didn’t want to wake up anymore. I was in the middle of a mental breakdown, suicidal. All I could think was to drive to his office. I know he had to be startled at my disheveled appearance, face crying and body shaking. He was so kind, caring, to calm me down. He had me stay at the office until he could get me in with a great friend and psychiatrist that day. Which prompted a series of events and lots of treatments and meds. And his fight for my life is ongoing to this day.

But what sets Dr Herrington apart from any other doctor? He saved my life that day. .. literally. He saved my life, made sure my boys still have their mother. The treatments and hard times aren’t over, but I know he’s there for me. He always takes time, treats me like a respected friend. He is truly a gift to his patients.

And he’s worth every accomendation he can get.
