The Doc that cares and takes that extra step!

Two years ago I called Dr. Legare (actually my wife called), stating I was experiencing an intestinal blockage. I had that experience 4 years prior which resulted in surgery.
Dr. Legare suggested I visit the hospital (Newton-Wellesley) to be admitted and checked out. I fear hospitals and certainly intestinal surgery :(
While I was in good hands with the hospital team, Dr. Legare kept in constant contact with the treating physicians and kept us in the loop. Dr. Legare encouraged me not to rush to surgery as sometimes with drugs it can clear on its own. On day two I was getting nervous that we were waiting for something that was not going to happen.
Dr. Legare took the time, and he was not obligated to take the time, to come visit and to talk about the situation. Following his advise and on day 2 and a half and one hour prior to night time surgery, the medications worked and I was cured.
