Discovery of bee stings

As. Cyclist I ride about 6,000 miles every year. Last year I experienced three bee stings in a two month period. After my first event Dr. Hummel came to my rescue, not knowing I was allergic to bee venom. My face was so swollen and the sting was on my neck, with the possibility of shutting down my breathing. Dr. Hummel and his staff took action immediately with an injection and prescription. They watched since I came straight to the office with no appointment, but that didn’t matter to the staff or Dr. Hummel. Two weeks later another bee sting. My eye was closed shut and the side of my face was very swollen. Once again I walked into the office and they wasted no time taking preventive measures. Since my appointment to see an allergist was two months away Dr. Hummel thought I should stop cycling , but I had different thoughts. Now comes the third bee sting and straight see Dr. Hummel. The same procedures were performed and about five days later everything was normal.

Looking back I can’t thank Dr. Hummel and his staff for all the continued support they gave me. The quick response and caring staff is simply amazing, not to mention how they knew what procedures to perform. I am so grateful to Dr. Hummel and his awesome staff. It is reassuring to know they are always there to care for me, no matter what the situation.
