Dickinson/Jessick heart felt thanks

Dr. Walker is so far beyond any other physician I've ever worked with or seen. I've been a nurse for over 30 years and she ranks higher than any other. She was my mom's primary during cancer treatment and Dr. Walker was the only one in an extensive team that was compassionate enough to tell us she was dying. Family just needs to hear the words to understand it's reality, you can stop treatment/tests, and just be with her. Everyone outside of Dr. Walker wanted to continue tests and procedures that may have taken her before the cancer did. Dr. Walker was strong enough to speak truth, then follow up with home visits during hospice care. She did all of it in the most loving and kind manner imaginable. We got 3 months of memories, moments and lovely times to remember with my mom, thanks to Dr. Walker.

I personally have seen many primary physicians for myself and family. There are zero that have come close to her quality of care. I think of her like someone that likes to solve puzzles. She looks at all the pieces and knows how to put them all together to form a complete picture. She is smart, dedicated and seems to really like what she does. I personally have a strong faith foundation and appreciate that she does as well. It's so hard to write everything that is felt from the heart. Thank you for being the only doctor that was willing to try and solve my daughter's puzzle. Thank you for caring for me and all of my family. I trust, respect, admire and thank you lighting my path and caring for my family over the years.
