Diagnostician par excellence!

Many years ago during Christmas week while Dr. Schlein had been on vacation I had developed a really bad cough, and so I made an appointment to see my pulmonologist who ordered a chest X-ray followed by a CT scan and found nothing amiss. Not getting any better, I went to see Dr. Schlein who listened to my words, and then asked me to give him a few moments to think and he decided to take an immunoglobulin blood test which showed that I had bad case of an atypical pneumonia (which did not show up on the normal scanning devices). Thinking outside of the box when necessary to make a difficult diagnosis has made me treasure the care I have always received from Dr. Schlein.
