The detective
Nancy and I are both around 80 years old and are MDVIP patients. Recently, Nancy had a visit with Dr. Allison Hull . She was experiencing abdominal pain, bloating , irregular bowel movements and weight loss. Sounds like IBS doesn't it? easy diagnosis , prescribe benefiber or something like it and call it a day.
But this was not good enough for the detective. As usual, she dug deeper.
Tests revealed the absence of an enzyme produced by the pancreas that allows one to digest food and to derive nutrition there from. Had Nancy, been successfully taking something that would mask the symptoms. Imagine her physical condition in a few years.
The detective may have saved her life.
Perhaps it's because she has more time with each patient. Perhaps she's just smarter. Or most likely it's because she cares more.
Whatever the reason we are blessed to call her our doctor.
