Definition of MDVIP

If you look up the definition of MDVIP you should see a picture of Dr. Rob Bevis . Rob epitomizes what qualities a MDVIP doctor must have. First of all he is a great human being. The program fits him to a tee as he spends quality time with his patients, he make you feel special and supported and he truly cares about your well being. He is highly intelligent, much more than your average internist. He is unbelievably responsive, responding to text and calls within minutes. Rob explains complex situation in plain English.Rob takes care of my wife and myself and also a few of my neighbors. One of my neighbors had a condition that a few specialists who after a few months were dumbfounded, yet Rob continued to research and found the cause and she is now much improved. My example of Rob’s dedication and caring is this.
Right after Covid started I caught it and it it did a number on me. One night it got so bad my oxygen levels dropped so lo, below 70 and I could not breathe, my wife called the EMS at 1030 pm…ambulance to the hospital..my wife texted Rob just so he would know thinking he would see me on his rounds the next day. So I am in La La land with 60 liters of oxygen to attempt to keep me off a ventilator….i look at the door and the clock above it…it’s 130am and there is Rob standing there…I can’t describe how comforting that was .
I know that MDVIP doctors have significantly less assigned patients but my guess is Rob work as much if not more now.
Rob is more than my doctor, I consider him a true friend. Without him I could not be living the dream with my wife, my gaughter, her husband and my two grandsons ..we all travel the world together….not possible with out Rob.
He truly is a gift.
