A Defining Moment

My initial introduction to Dr Harkins.was iniated by my husband,John, who requested I accompany him to his office appointments. ... I was an observer....an observer of the positive way in which Dr. Harkins interacted with my husband. How i.mpressive. It was on one of these visits that I asked Dr. Harkins whether he had a few moments for me as I had had a disturbing diagnosis of a newly discovered worrisome condition. And he listened..patiently. With his knowledge, insights and caring manner I knew that I wanted to be a part of his extensive practice. And so to you, Dr. Harkins, I express my deepest gratitude for that brief session many years ago that changed the course of my medical care.
