Deeply cared for!
I moved to California with my husband a year and a half ago. One of the biggest issues in a move like this is finding replacements for the resources you left behind. My initial primary care physician was opinionated and bombastic. She referred to anti-depressants as a crutch. She asked me to bring in my supplements and then yelled at me for taking them, saying it is just advertising. She violated my privacy by confiding in my husband regarding an issue i'd had that had been resolved, but didn't talk to me about it. My neighbor had mentioned Dr. Marland. What she really liked about him is that he listens and cares. I interviewed him and immediately felt that I wanted him to be my doctor. He is smart, kind, he deeply cares, and most of all, I feel safe. He has made referrals to specialists that are of the same caliber as he is. While my initial primary physician claimed she was collaborative, Dr. Marland is truly collaborative. I have lived in my body for a long time. I am so happy to have someone who will help me live in it for many years to come.
