Dedication to his patients

I have been with Dr thomas for about 10 years. He has been an outstanding medical provider. Any issue I have had has been thoroughly addressed by him in a professional, expedient manner. I have had 3 major incidents where he exceeded any expectations
During Covid 19 I became extremely sick, Dr Thomas monitored me very closely, he would come to my house to check on me so I would not have to leave my home, his treatment and guidance helped me get through a dangerous situation. That was my first serious situation. About 1 year later I suffered a TIA, I taken to the hospital by ambulance. When I was taken back to my room at the hospital after some tests were done, Dr Thomas was waiting for me in my room to check and see how I was doing. He explained the medical terms, reasons for TIA and what we needed to do going forward. Again going above and beyond.
The third, and most serious incident, I suffered a heart Attack while I was away from our home in Hanover, we were in South Carolina, I I had CPR performed as my heart stopped for over 5 minutes and had emergency surgery to put a stent in. Fractured ribs and sternum caused a great deal of pain and anxiety. My wife turned to Kurt for help and direction, he was patient, explained things in detail and became involved with the treatment and its direction. He helped me understand what happened and what we have to do for the future. He was on the phone daily with either my wife or myself. if something was not working (pain control) he would make adjustments. He communicated with the cardiac Doctors daily, remember I was away from home down in South Carolina. He helped set up Cardiac rehab by contacting the rehab companies, he communicated to them the medical information they needed. He contacted me several times a week to see how I was doing. When I woke up in the hospital 2 days after surgery, Dr Thomas comes walking into my room, my family asked if he would come down to South Carolina to make sure things were ok and to help my wife get through this. he stayed for a couple of days, he communicated to the Cardiac Drs and the hospital and explained the medical issues to my wife and I, he was a God send. I could add a lot more detail but you can see the dedication and going beyond expectations by Dr Thomas. He should get Dr of the year if there were such an award. I hope the other Dr’s in MDVIP are of the same character, if they are you have a great organization
