Dedication

The week before Christmas I was having an issue. It was not serious but had started a few weeks earlier and seemed to be getting worse. It was Friday before Christmas, so I decided to call Dr. Timony's office and schedule a visit for the week after Christmas. No one answered the office phone so I hung up with the intent of calling the following week. A couple of hours later, Dr. Timony called and asked what the problem was. I told her and she said she would have her office personnel setup an appointment with a specialist. I thanked her and hung up. A couple of hours later, I realized that it was actually Saturday, not Friday. I owe Dr. Timony an apology. My problem was not worth addressing on a Saturday. She did not know that and called. That she went to the trouble to call me on Christmas weekend indicates a devotion to caring above and beyond the call of duty. Again, I owe her an apology and continue to be impressed by her dedication.
