In December 2014, I received a very scary diagnosis of potential wide-spread ovarian cancer. Dr. Heidrick held my hand through-out the entire process of testing and surgery and made sure I had referrals to the best doctors to manage my care. Dr. Heidrick called and texted me frequently and spent a lot of time explaining confusing terms to me. Most importantly he was encouraging and supportive and always full of hope and practical advice. Fortunately, my tumor turned out to be benign and I am recovering from surgery with a great long-term prognosis. Many thanks to Dr. Heidrick for helping me to navigate a very difficult and scary situation!
