Compassionate & Caring 💜

First off I’d like to say a heart felt THANK YOU! And I APPRECIATE YOU DR ELSA L. LERRO! I’ve been under Dr Lerros care around 10 yrs now & her caring & true concern for my best health interest has not diminished! As a matter of fact, I appreciate her so much, that when I had to be out of state for an extended time it was necessary for me to find a local Dr. I was under the impression that I was being required to change physicians & that broke my heart & well, I cried(she didn’t know that til now though)! I was so relieved when I learned I was still her patient & she was still my health care provider! I consider Dr Lerro more than my health care provider because of her caring heart for my well being. My best memory is when I was in her office & had gotten my first MDVIP Wellness checkup & she had to inform me that I needed to start a new medication to PREVENT the issue from getting out of control. That was NOT what I expected as I take my self care very seriously. Well, needless to say I cried! Dr Lerro was so KIND, not just as a Dr but from woman to woman , I could see that she cared & she got me tissue & took her time with me in explaining how I can control the symptom & not be afraid of it. She has truly helped me understand medical issues & learn to not be afraid of the medicines that can HELP. I was very anti pills, so learning that my health needs stemmed from hereditary causes, was very hard on me emotionally, but she helped me through it. I never feel she’s rushing to get through my visits. It’s very disturbing to be under medical care & feel your provider is not taking their time & paying attention! I’m thankful I don’t have to worry about that! I know she most likely didn’t agree on my initial approach to my medical needs without the medicine, I was totally trying to do things without prescription meds due to my personal & spiritual concerns. She RESPECTED that, but at the same time did what she was obligated to do as a GOOD & RESPONSIBLE PHYSICIAN, she didn’t reprimand me for my beliefs, & she didn’t insinuate anything, but thoughtfully & caringly stuck to explaining & getting me to understand medically what I needed to do to stay ahead of the issues & prevent them from getting out of control. I TRUST Dr Lerro, & like I said previously, I think of her as more than my physician! I truly wished EVERYONE could have a Dr like her! So THANK YOU DR ELSA LERRO, for helping me to truly live my best healthy life & be physically able to enjoy it! I APPRECIATE YOU💜 With sincere thoughts. 🥰
