Four days after knee replacement surgery, I went to the emergency room with high blood pressure, vomiting profusely and hallucinating. I was so scared and didn’t know what was happening to me. I was given something to calm me down and went to sleep. The next thing I remember is Dr Huerter holding my hand and calmly assuring me everything was going to be alright. I just needed to get some poisons out of my system. This gesture was so reassuring.
The fact that I knew it was his birthday and he still came by to see me at 11 o’clock at night , shows what a caring, compassionate doctor he is. I feel so blessed to be his patient..
