CHANGING PHYSICIANS

Five years ago I had reached my limits with, at the time, my PCP. After almost 2-years of lengthy waits in the large physician practice office, the Doc spending more time entering information occupied with his electronic device, little eye contact or questions of a personal nature, failure to reveal lab results from the post-labs draw, and exiting the room without speaking never to return. I had heard of Dr. MacKay and his involvement with MDVIP. Even though I was not a patient of MDVIP at the time I scheduled an appointment with Dr.MacKay to discuss my medical needs, current medications, and health goals. He spent over 30-minutes, 1 on 1, with no charge. I have been a MDVIP patient since that time. I found his office to be clean, pleasant, calm if not serene, and to a person in the office knowledgeable, friendly, communicative with procedures, on time (I had to wait 3-minutes once) and genuinely interested with my well-being. Also of note, there have never been any billing problems. Dr. MacKay and MDVIP are now my medical home.
