Caring Physician
It has been my extreme pleasure meeting and securing as my PCP Dr. Scott Hammer. He had become a friend, confidant and aid in providing me with an atmosphere of joy filled living.
I have several ailments which could have me in a pity party mode. I'm glad to report, not happening with Dr. Hammer on board.
I'm a 3 day a week dialysis patient 4.5 hours each day (I have no kidneys); prostate cancer; a bad weak heart; and severe arthritis.
Every problem I've had, every test I've had from other specialists, every medical situation, Dr. Hammer weighs in and gives me clarity with the results. Even the difficulty things, he demonstrates not only professional concern, he equally makes me feel he is in it with me. That is so comforting when your doctor showed that kind of concern.
I go on nature trails, museums, bird watching, national historic sites, fishing and take pictures. Dr. Hammer ebullient me to continue and not stop.
I'm not only fortunate but blessed to know him and say, he is my friend and PCP.
The picture I uploaded is from one of my nature trips to Rye Island.
