Caring in a personal way

Not long after I started coming to Dr. Hadley I ran into her in a department store. At our appointment I had mentioned that my husband was ill.

When she saw me, she called me by my first name and her first question was asking how my husband was doing.

I couldn’t be more impressed or appreciative of her thoughtfulness. She made me feel that she knew me as an individual and not just one more patient. And that was after knowing her for a very short time

Truer today more than yesterday.
