Caring

My MDVIP Doctor is Lillian Cohn in Philadelphia. I had a visit last week to review some blood results and some followup on a couple of medical issues. I left with the same feeling I always do--this doctor cares. She understands my general aversion to acknolwledging medical issues and maybe my own mortality as a form of weakness. She cares but on follow-up she doesn't let me get away with anything. That is a good thing. I had a few things I was supposed to have followed up on, which I didn't and she doesn't issue free passes. Instead, she takes potential medical issues seriously. I need that and I am very pleased and comfortable with our relationship--warm and direct.
