Caring.

Dr. Dean Smith was compassionate and understanding throughout the illness and loss of my late husband , Franklin Justice. He not only cared for my late husband during this time within the hospital but also when he was admitted to a center that cared for patients with the same issue my husband was going through. He would stop by the center on occasion to share time with him and make certain he was well taken care of. He was a wonderful friend to Franklin. He was supportive to me and our family during this very difficult experience and he was there making certain that our needs were met as well.
Dr. Smith helped us in knowing and accepting what we were all eventually going to have to come to terms with....the loss of someone so very dear to us .
He went beyond and above to making a difficult decision to release Franklin from all the pain he was experiencing knowing that I was not capable of....and I
will always be eternally grateful for this compassionate act of kindness.
Dr. Smith was more than our family physician ...he was a compassionate and giving doctor....devoted to caring for us all.
