Career long friendship
I first met my (unknown to me at the time) future physician Dr. Ryan Gini back in 1990. Ryan had joined our adult hockey team. Ryan was our most skilled player and helped keep our team from ending in the bottom of the standings. Ryan was attending medical school while he was playing with on the team. He was very motivated and a pleasure to play with. Given the hours of his studies and the fact that our hockey games were from 10pm to 2am was a testament to his desire to compete on the ice and in the classroom. Fast forward to the past twenty years…I was looking for a primary care doctor with similar interests, goals, and fairly close to my age ( since many of my doctors at the time were retiring, or worst). I again connected with Ryan and became his patient. As Ryan’s career progressed and evolved into being a MDVip provider, I enjoyed being along for the journey. Ryan continues to provide me with great interest in my health, activities, and provides me tangible steps to allow me to continue pursuing those activities, even improving my performances over previous years results. Being healthy is not just a goal, but a necessity and lifestyle that defines me ( and also my relationship with my doctor). This journey with Dr. Gini continues to be a thrill. I look forward to his and our future together as doctor and patient and friend.
