Cardiac Rescue

In January 2023, I was experiencing unexplained fatigue and obvious cardiac arrythmia. I tried to find a cardiologist and I could only get an appointment four months out. I had a sense of doom and called my concierge doctor, Israel Wacks. He got me an appointment right away, a heart monitor was provided, and it almost immediately confirmed serious arrythmia. Two days later I was hospitalized and received a pacemaker. I very well may not have made it if I had to wait four months to see a cardiologist and then another few weeks to complete testing. Now things are fine with the ticker.
