Bountiful Care Begets Content Patient
More than a decade ago, at age 76, I had the good fortune to learn of Doctor Timothy Janz, an MDVIP physician in my hometown and was in need of a family physician with a holistic approach to patient care. My cardiac, pulmonary, aging and overlapping pharmaceutical issues had caused me to have some uncertainty about my actual medical state. Within months after being accepted in his practice, I began to feel my concerns disappear. Doctor Janz was thoughtful, comprehensive in his evaluations, and, most gratifying, he took the time to listen to my often partial descriptions of current illnesses. His interactive probing of my thoughts led to increasing clarity and comfort on my part . With each explanation of cause, effect, treatment options and recommendations, I began to understand that he knew and was in control of my actual illnesses and the appropriate treatments for each. We have been down a long path of routine and urgent care over the years, but my self-confidence in facing and resolving them is intensely due to Dr. Janz' precision, compassion, humor, exquisite diagnoses and solutions, often in real-time at odd hours. Dr. Janz is enriched by a highly disciplined, caring and professional staff that makes his practice one-of-a-kind. I consider him a dear friend and I know he enjoys the "melodic" birthday cards I send him each year. In fact, his wife gets a kick out of his keeping the cards on his desk at home. A more professional and compassionate adherent to the Hippocratic oath would be hard to find.
