A Better Patient

I'm 76. I've lived in NYC, NJ, Long Island, Upstate NY, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta and now am retired in Southeastern Florida. Over the years I've had doctors of every stripe, temperament and competence level. I have never been more comfortable with a doctor than I am with my primary care physician Dr Stacy Shider. She listens, she's extraordinarily knowledgeable, she interacts with my other healthcare providers, her staff and colleagues are first rate and she follows up and through. She makes me feel like I'm part of the team managing my healthcare needs. In short, she's made me a better patient.
