Best Doctor Ever even on vacation!

Just before Christmas, my sister (not Dr. Poliak's patient) had serious complications from gall bladder surgery and was calling me to see if she could be transferred from Corpus Christi to Houston. I called Dr. Poliak to see if he could help me get my sister moved, but he was in Belize on vacation. But he texted me anyway in response to my concern and connected me with another surgeon who actually returned my call. I received several text messages later from Dr. Poliak asking how my sister was doing, who eventually got out of the hospital where she was and has recovered. But Dr. Poliak's care and concern not just for me, but for my sister as well is remarkable. He is the best physician I have ever had.
