Best Doctor EVER!

I have known Dr James Frey since he was a resident and my mother became one of his first patients. He was kind, caring, and LISTENS -- something a lot of doctors do not do. My mother recommended him to me and luckily he was on my insurance so I was able to select him as my doctor. The only time he hasn't been my doctor was when my insurance changed and i couldn't go to him. When he changed over to join MDVip, I had to make a hard decision - can I afford him? When I tried a few different doctors -- only to discover that the art of listening to a patient was not part of their bedside manner -- I decided that I had to return to Dr Frey and pay the premium to have a superior physician. When I explain my symptoms to him in totally layman's terms, he gets it. That is a wonderful gift to have.

My visits with him are like visiting an old friend -- yes, we discuss my health issues; however, we also talk about my personal issues. He laughs with me at funny events in my life; and weeps with me when tragedy happens. For example, I have furry children -- God never graced me with two-legged, light-furred children; only the furry, goofy, big brown-eyed angels that He loans us for a limited time. When He calls them home to do their given jobs in Heaven, it hurts - it hurts really bad. My two angels were called home three months apart, and I was in pieces. Dr Frey cried with me as we reminisced about them and others we had lost. Doctors don't do that -- but a true physician does.

If he retires before I die, I don't know what I will do. I know he will need to retire sometime -- I just am not looking forward to having to break in a new physician. I truly love Dr Frey and I look forward to our visits.
