Like all boomers, the aging process for me has been quite the experience. My usual physical revealed the need for the further examination of specific body parts to clarify exactly what was going on. During the testing phase, I whipped myself into a fervor and lather, anxiously awaiting results and expecting the worse of all worse outcomes. And through this needless period of angst, I made a frantic (and needless) call to Dr. Koval. Both Dr. Koval and his nurse, Joy were both kind and patient. With only words, I was able to climb down off the proverbial ledge, pull up by big girl panties and gather myself. I also learned a valuable lesson --- no matter the outcome of any test or any health challenges that will surely surface in the years to come, it can all be managed if not resolved, especially if I have Dr. Koval and Joy.
