THE BEST DOCTOR!!

My husband had double lung transplant and kidney transplant on August 27, 2023. I do not know how we would have made it without Dr. Katsigiannis. After leaving NYU Langone we needed that support person to report back to NYU Staff and do daily/weekly follow ups as needed. After being transferred to the fist rehab facility my husband took sick. With the help of Dr. Katsigiannis he was taken to Greenwich Hospital and was admitted this would have been a total disaster without him. Because my husband was a transplant patient he needed a private room he took care of that as well and my husband takes over 38 medications per day. From there my husband was transferred to a new rehab facility in Norwalk and Dr. Katsigiannis continued to follow him and make sure all medications, schedules all transportation to and from NYU, testing, weekly bloodwork etc., Another thing he would always call me with any changes or updates as they arises. I think of Dr. Katsigiannis not as our doctor but he’s part of our family.
