Best doctor

I have known Dr. Lillian Cohn for several years - when neither of us had grey hair! She is knowledgeable, always available and compassionate but also maintains standards of health and has never pampered me. (That's a good thing!) There are two situations that stand out in the history of my relationship with her. The first is when I got breast cancer. She was with me every step of the way. When I first discovered the lump in my breast I called her and she saw me the following morning at 7 a.m. The other time that stands out was when I had an accident in my Miami, Florida. My mother was with me and eventually she passed away six weeks after the accident. I was distraught! When I returned to Philadelphia the following month I made an appointment with Dr. Cohn. (I had broken my neck in the accident and refused to have surgery until I could bury my mother) Dr. Cohn was so compassionate and empathized with my grief. That appointment lasted one hour and I cried a river that afternoon. She is a doctor par excellence and I am very fortunate to know her and be her patient.
