After my stroke I unfortunately completely changed in my appearance. Then I gained so much weight. Emotionally drained and frustrated I finally opened up to Dr Blount . I was expecting the normal response of shame and diet and exercise. I received the total opposite. He moved from his chair to the seat beside me and turned his body completely to full interest to what I was saying. He made me feel validated and non judgmental at all. He has helped me lose over 30 lbs . Impacted my mental health and confidence tremendously. I couldn’t be more grateful to have such a supportive and caring Doctor . His patience with me is unparalleled.
