The Best Doctor

My sister and her husband spoke so highly of Dr Edmund Lew, that I knew I had to join MDVIP so I could meet this wonderful Doctor. I found him to be a very kind man and an "old fashioned doctor," one who cares about his patients and doesn't rush them out to run to the next patient.

He was quite familiarized with my condition and medications and discussed them knowledgeably. Being a teacher (ret.), I especially appreciated his way of explaining, demonstrating and making sure everything was understood.

When Dr. Lew asks questions, he listens intently and thoughtfully while you are speaking. On subsequent visits, he relates the comments and information to whatever new symptoms are presented to something that was said during a previous visit.

Starting over with a new Doctor is always disconcerting. But it is so very comforting when you know your Doctor cares enough to remember your complaints and histories from past appointments.

Being a fairly new patient, I was especially impressed by Dr. Lew's quick response when, on a Sunday morning, I called his exchange to request relief for Covid. In no more than 10 minutes, Dr. Lew, himself, was on the phone asking how I felt and prodding for information. When he was certain that what I had was, indeed, symptomatic of Covid, he ordered the appropriate medication.

His staff is very considerate, kindly and accommodating.
