The best choice we ever made...

My parents transferred their care to Dr. Delwood’s MDVIP practice several years ago. My mother (in her early 80’s) was suffering serious health issues that her previous doctor was unable to successfully diagnose. She met Dr. Delwood while in the hospital and decided to transfer her care when her physician retired. Within weeks, Dr. Delwood identified the root cause of her health problems. Thanks to his extensive network of healthcare partners, she received lifesaving treatment.

Dr. Delwood also provides outstanding care to my dad. Early on, He assessed Dad’s complete health and overhauled his existing medications. The results were immediate. After years of decline, Dad resumed several favorite activities, took on new hobbies and his quality of life started improving. As Dad travels through this late season of life, Dr. Delwood continues to monitor and support his changing needs. We know that he is only a text or phone call away if we have questions or concerns. More than once, Dr. Delwood has responded during the evening, over a weekend or even while he was traveling.

Most importantly, it is obvious that Dr. Delwood and his staff truly care about my dad. Dr. Delwood has taken the time to get to know Dad as a person… not just a patient. He asks about Dad’s hobbies and provides a window into his own life. When we have Dr. Delwood’s time, we know we have 100% of his attention. There is never a feeling of being rushed. He engages on a whole other level that is so refreshing. Angie (at the front desk) is always ready with a smile and warm hello when we walk up to the front desk. Dr. Delwood’s nurse (Sherry) has a special place in all our hearts. By the occasional hug that my dad gets, I would say that he has a special place in her heart as well.

As a result of all the great service witnessed, I transferred my OWN care to Dr. Delwood last year. I underwent a very thorough wellness review. All angles were assessed and addressed. I now have a proactive health care plan and a caring team of great people partnering with me to ensure I make the most of my years to come.
