The Best of the Best!

Being active and staying healthy is a challenge as we age. It is hard to accept that you can't do certain things you used to. When I started seeing Dr., Julie Pirrigen I was in my late 50's and battling all the things that come with aging and a stressful career and the lifestyle that comes with a traveling career. The level of expertise she brought to understanding my individual health challenges combined with the level of caring she displays for her patients makes her, hands down, the best Primary Care Physician I have ever been associated with. I can say that I am healthier and happier as a result of her care and the wonderful staff she has. She explains things about your health in a very understandable way and is always very prepared when I come for a visit, having studied my records and charts and applying knowledge of my unique health challenges to her diagnosis and prescribed course of action. It's a very personal and engaging way that she practices medicine. And, for me, it has been very effective. I have lost 45 lbs and feel remarkably healthy at 62. Under her care, I have continued to lead an active lifestyle, and corraled the bad effects of chronic medical conditions, allowing me to keep up with most people half my age and live my best life from a health standpoint. She understands the challenges that people face in receiving the best medical care from financial challenges to access to specialty care as well as the sometimes counterproductive policies of insurance companies. Dr. Julie is a true gem among physicians and I am very grateful to be a patient. Not everybody has this level of care and I am forever grateful for the care she gives to me and my loved ones.

I would be remiss not to mention Brandy, Dr. J's nurse. She is remarkable at everything she does. I have never had anyone so proactive and so positive about making sure health needs are met as Brandy. She is excellent at what she does and a huge contributing factor to the level of excellent service my family enjoys. I am immensely grateful for Brandy and the care she expertly provides.
