In April of 2013 I had a laminectomy of L3,4,&5 that involved fusing and instrumentation. The surgeon was recommended by Dr. Malinow and, as usual, his advice and recommendation was excellent. The surgery went well and recovery was going along fine until I had an extreme reaction to Oxycodone and was in the emergency room twice in the following two weeks. Dr. Lou followed my progress closely, and recommended a GI doctor for me. He conferred with the GI doctor throughout the ordeal of prolonged diarrhea, a colonoscopy and all the weight loss and anxiety that continued until the end of July. He was very attentive to my concerns, made medication adjustments and ultimately got me back on track! I can't thank him enough for his excellent care and his willingness to listen to my seemingly.endless questions and concerns. He is absolutely tops in my book!
