Appreciation for Dr. Joann Pfundstein

I have been a patient of Dr Pfundstein for only two years since relocating to Virginia from Tennessee and have found her to be an exemplary medical advisor and caregiver. My sister Nancy Pezold and I engaged her services at that time when my sister was in the last month of her life. Dr. Pfundstein treated her with such kindness, patience and care and helped us deal with her loss. Since then, she has been my personal physician. She and her medical team respond quickly and effectively to all my questions, concerns and medical attention. I feel that they truly care about my health and well-being. I just celebrated my 80th birthday but they never treat me as an old woman as some doctors have done. I have the highest respect for Dr. Pfundstein and her medical team and confidence in their abilities to deliver a level of care that appears to be rare these days. She deserves recognition for her care of and interaction with her patients.
