Always there for us

Dr. Calvino has always provided my husband and me with warm and expert care. This was especially appreciated after being transported one night a year ago to the hospital for a gall bladder infection. During my time of distress, I was dealing with a hospitalist physician, a surgeon and a gastroenterologist among others in the hospital. Dr. Calvino spoke with my husband, answering questions and coordinating my care with the specialists. Ultimately, I underwent a cholecystectomy with complications which resulted in two endoscopy procedures to unblock my bile duct. While in the hospital, I was pumped full of fluids and was not diuresed before being discharged.
When I returned home on Labor Day weekend, my blood pressure spiked and I was blown up like a balloon. We called Dr. Calvino on the holiday, who prescribed Lasix which we picked up at the pharmacy. He even had to make an additional call to another pharmacy because the first one was closed. We were very appreciative of all of Dr. Calvino’s efforts on my behalf during that trying and difficult time. Thank God we are always able to reach Dr. Calvino on his cell phone at all hours. His VIP care is indispensable to our peace of mind.
