Always there for Mom and me

Dear Dr. Robertson, It will be hard to ever fully express just how much you mean to my Mom and me - how grateful we are that you chose the path of being a primary care doctor and joined MDVIP to be able to maintain the type of practice you have always provided - incredible patient care, the ability to get an appointment the same day if needed and as much time as needed, your constant vigilance when Mom was in the hospital, your genuine caring nature, your practical advice, your vast knowledge of the human body (you amaze me with that!), your diligent research on the newest medicines and treatments, your help in navigating today’s complex medical system, your prompt replies to calls and texts, no matter the day or time, that you hired a wonderful competent and caring nurse in Jamie, and above all, your friendship. It is wonderful to see you in the local supermarket and stop for a chat; to spend a minute sharing experiences with our children and elderly parents, to talk about all the things that challenge us professionally and what we do to take care of ourselves, to help manage stress, and other coping skills, and to celebrate our achievements and accomplishments! I love that you know our families, our children’s names and where they are in life (and as a result, where we are in life), that you connect us with specialists, communicate with the specialists to stay totally on top of our healthcare, and when needed, help us book more immediate appointments with the specialists who are booked months into the future. As my mom ages and meets with health challenges that inevitably come with aging, I am particularly thankful that you are by her side, helping her to age graciously, and with dignity, knowing that she has the best doctor in the world caring for her, and for me.
