Always There

I don't have a single story, rather several short snippets....One time several specialists seemed to be ignoring my complaints. After examining me my PCP determined that a vascular test really shold be performed. She personally called the vascular specialist and the test was performed. The problem was partially vascular, but thanks to the test it helped us determine where else to look. She's called me back or texted or e-mailed on weekends when many other doctors would have waited until Monday. She does not let a problem fester. She gives thorough exams (including the right questions) after listening intently that resolve problems. She's offered to take out staples after surgery and remove suspicious skin spots- a new experience for me. In closing, let's just put it this way: if I felt my life was in danger because of some seemingly serious symptoms....she's the first person I'd call.
