Age is Just a Number

After I came to Houston some 50 years ago, I searched for a physician I could trust with my health and well being. I finally came to Dr. Adelia Brannen. At first I was wary trusting a new physician, but her patience and attention to detail when dealing with me, I can be difficult, kept me going back. She has always listened, never rushed me, wanting to know all aspects of my life that might affect whatever I was having trouble with at the moment. She heard about family difficulties and work problems as well as medical complaints. She would find a way to look at the upside of how to treat my situation. She has become a friend that I respect for her knowledge and compassion and approach to medicine and to me. I think I am invincible at 78 years, but still have to go to her and admit that perhaps I am not. Still I am ready to rock out in large part thanks to Dr. Brannen.
