After-Hours Angel

I’m that individual who only calls a doctor when I’m “extremely sick”! I believe their schedules are so busy, so I never bother Dr. Barefield and when I do, I try to schedule the latest appointment possible (praying my condition has gotten better). What makes us LOVE Dr. Barefield is her compassion for others. I suddenly became ill on a Saturday. I have a fear of needles, so I wouldn’t go to the E.R. My husband called Dr. Barefield and she asked us to come to the office and she met us there. She calmed my anxiety and my treated my pneumonia. We love her. She goes above and beyond for her patients. We call her our “After-Hours Angel”!
