Addicted

I am a 74 year old woman that got addicted to pain medication. I had been taking a pain med for many years for a number of ailments. They were prescribed by the doctor whose practice Dr Blake-Smith took over..
Dr Blake -Smith changed the pain pill and I was taking regularly and then found myself taking more than prescribed. I became addicted and ashamed. Without going into great detail, she was so compassionate and non judgemental. We came up with a plan and now I am doing great and not as ashamed.
